At the age of 16, Jill enrolled at Colchester School of Art where she studied under the tutelage of some well known Essex/Suffolk artists including Edward Bawden and John Nash. She then went on to study Graphic Design at the
Central School of Art and Design (now Central St Martins).
Jill’s inspiration comes from the people, places and objects around her and she aims to give each painting it’s own life.
Her work has been shown in many mixed exhibitions, including the Royal Academy of Arts, Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Competition, Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Watercolour Society where she became the first female President.
