Known as ‘Pete the Street’, he paints directly from life, his favoured subject matter being busy street scenes in cities across the world as well as landscapes and interiors. He works in charcoal, oil paint and pastel.
He paints for one-man exhibitions each year either in London or Bath, has been showing with Messum’s, London since 2004 and The Victoria Art Gallery in Bath since 2000.
He was born in Reading in 1967 and studied Art at Bath College of Higher Education and Manchester Polytechnic graduating in 1990. Peter and his wife Lisa live in Bath where they raised their 5 children Ollie, Toby, Hattie, Ella and Ned.
In 2018, he was elected President of the New English Art Club.
